LATAM Airlines Group’s presence in Europe

LATAM Airlines Group currently operates five routes between South America and Europe: Madrid, Milan, London, Paris, Frankfurt and as of October 1st of this year will begin operations to Barcelona, from São Paulo. Furthermore, LAN will add three additional structural services between Santiago and Madrid as of September 2015 and TAM will strengthen its operations between São Paulo and Madrid during this year’s high season, from June 25th to September 30th.
Additionally, LAN and TAM passengers have the unique opportunity of traveling to Europe using the “Multidestination” option, which allows them to reach the continent via one city and return from a different city for a very similar price to what they would pay for a round trip to a single city.

Milano Malpensa, 22 ottobre 2015 – Alba Star, compagnia aerea spagnola a capitale privato con sede a Palma di Maiorca e la principale base operativa a Milano Malpensa, presenta il quarto aeromobile Boeing 737-400 della sua flotta e lo dedica alla città di Milano, onorando uno dei simboli più importanti e identificativi della capitale meneghina: Sant’Ambrogio.
Alla cerimonia avvenuta questa mattina presso l’aeroporto di Milano Malpensa, è intervenuto il Vicario Episcopale di Milano, Monsignor Erminio De Scalzi, che ha benedetto l’aeromobile che opererà prevalentemente collegamenti verso la città di Lourdes, la quale, dal prossimo mese di maggio, sarà collegata con due voli di linea la settimana in partenza proprio da Malpensa.
A sei anni dall’inizio della propria attività, Alba Star propone al mercato un modello di business funzionale, flessibile e assortito che prevede differenti prodotti: collegamenti nazionali e internazionali per traffico on demand, leisure e religioso, sia charter sia di linea operati con una flotta di quattro Boeing 737-400 da 170 posti in classe unica, basati in Italia e in Spagna.
A maggio 2015, Alba Star ha iniziato la propria attività di linea verso la città di Lourdes da Roma e Bergamo, che sarà integrata da maggio 2016 con il nuovo collegamento bisettimanale ogni lunedì e giovedì da Milano Malpensa.

FedEx and SEA announce the start of construction of a new airport facility at Milan Malpensa

The new structure will be located within the Cargo City and it will become the third largest FedEx Express hub in Europe – The new facility will be completed by the summer of 2016
